n 2005, When I was in at the EGADE ITESM, I had the opportunity to build relationships with a company that is dedicated to the marketing of metals in Hong Kong and observed the following as highlighting the way in doing business:
President, CEO, chairman of the board or owner must develop and communicate a clear vision of what will be the system of quality and service, how it will be implemented, the employees what to expect once you're deploying, how will be used to satisfy and retain customers and how will be supported over time.
One conclusion is that they have been taken, has been that businesses and their organizational cultures resemble us, are a reflection of our national or regional
The orientation is long term refers to the emphasis on a culture of life planning for long term in contrast to the immediate concerns. This fifth dimension was found in a study among 23 countries, using a questionnaire designed by Chinese scholars.
The values associated with long-term orientation rely on the perseverance and vision. The short-term oriented values refer to tradition, social obligations. Interestingly each dimension, comparing countries, especially those with whom we interact in the business environment and companies are being impacted in the way of negotiating, working, hiring and dealing with people.
good points, still, all well-intentioned people and organizations have to link all three levels of results: Mega, Macro, and Micro. It is essential that this alignmnent must be in measurable performance terms.
I suggest that all cultures basically share Mega. It is in the means and resources where differences emerge and often become violent.
